Amidst everything that is happening in 2020 are these slivers of light. Beauty is flooding through the seams with BIG, irreplaceable life moments — love, marriage, welcoming life into the world, you name it. So much of this has looked different, but it doesn’t mean that it’s not happening. Loved ones are miles apart when they wish they could be in the same room.

I’ve had the incredible honor of diving into more lifestyle videos during this time. Now more than ever, I think we’re realizing how priceless it is to have these things documented. These milestones. These once in a lifetimes.

It brings tears to my eyes editing films like this. My heart resonates with so many who have had to be separated from loved ones while sharing the news of big moments.

I can’t even put into words what it’s going to feel like when Ashley and Charlie’s daughter is old enough to watch this film of her parents. She gets to relive the excitement, celebration, and love that surrounded the first announcement of her. She gets to see her parents in love, frozen in their youth, entering this next stage of life. She gets to see her childhood best friend, Ozzie, as a puppy. She gets to listen, on repeat, to her parent’s first message to her, as a constant reminder that she is loved, and she is important.

To the core of my heart, I will always believe in the value of film. It truly is priceless. I'm beyond excited for the Blackmon Family!
