The Martin Family | Love Is Everything

This is one of the most special and intimate projects I’ve ever captured. Chelsea and Jason have an incredible story that she wanted to be documented in a film — a little digital time capsule of where their life path has led them these past few years.

I shed so many tears and felt a lot of joy and gratitude creating this, and even more so, how humbled I was going through the dozens of videos Chelsea sent me of the memories this family has built together. I’ve never met kids quite like Poppy, Finn, Sage, and Jonah — for such young souls they have been through so much, and their genuine appreciation for life and family is something that truly sparks a fire in me, and is a form of gratitude that each and every human can learn from. I just can’t get over how special it is knowing that such wonderful people trust me with their memories and the goodness that Chelsea has brought into my life in such a short period of time.

While I’ve kept the details private, my family is currently experiencing a very tough season, and this is a beautiful reminder that being alive and healthy is the most wonderful gift — we must keep seeking the life we want, and fulfill it with all that we have.

Document your memories. From the bottom of my heart, I beg you, document your memories. After all, it’s easy to forget what dancing in an empty, sun-soaked room as a child feels like. Poppy will get to watch that one day and remember what it felt like thanks to her Momma. I adore the family these two have built together.
